Dr. Colleen M. Ryan, MD, is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and physician at the Fraser Outpatient Burn Services at Massachusetts General Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children Boston. Dr. Ryan is a trauma surgeon and a national figure in the area of burn injury outcomes.


Dr. Ryan has published landmark research in burn outcomes and is lead investigator in the development of the YABOQ (Young Adult Burn Outcome Questionnaire) as part of the Multicenter Benchmarking Outcomes Study Group. Her research expertise includes outcomes, employment and pain in burn injury.
